The operational halt led to thirty canceled flights disrupting thousands of passengers, with authorities cautioning that delays might continue throughout Monday.

Authorities reported that multiple atmospheric balloons were spotted infiltrating Lithuania from the border with Belarus, with a pair of them ending up directly over the airport's airspace.
Approximately 14 of the atmospheric instruments sent during the weekend passed through the metropolitan zone, which is the location of Lithuania's main urban center and close to the border with Belarus.
